Hi guys! I don't have reflux in my house anymore but when I find something good I always try to come back here and share it since this is where we first started our healing journey 8 years ago. We have been on an SCD enhanced diet using www.pecanbread.com for years now, five to be exact and I have recently come across two other protocols for intestinal healing, improved immune function and overall health that I thought some moms might want to read about. One is the GAPS protocol which is really based on Elaine Gottschall's diet but was modified by a neurologist who had a son on the autism spectrum. She incorporated a lot of Weston Price Diet principles and a great deal of fermented foods and cultured foods to naturally populate the gut and keep digestive issues away. Her clinic has helped hundreds of people and now she is training GAPS practitioners all over the world and recovering children with autism, asthma, ADHD and allergies. Many of these same conditions are also related to heart disease, dementia, dyslexia, and cancer. Here are a few videos that I thought might be of interest and of course if you have questions for me, please do ask. I have seen amazing strides with the Weston Price principles as espoused in Sally Fallon's book Nutritional Healing. This information has been around for over 100 years and it is so shocking that doctors practicing today seem to know zero about it and 100% how to medicate and do procedures on our little folks.
