My son is 5 1/2 weeks old. He has silent reflux. He was on Zantac but his new pedi switched him to Prevacid solutabs. It seems like ever since he has been on these, he sleeps less. He take like 30 minutes naps, if that, during the day and he wakes up very easily. He gets up every 2-3 hours to eat at night, not sure if that is normal for his age or if it is the sleeping problem he is having.

Do any of you know if prevacid can do this?

We have also put him on an RS formula which is helping a lot. He doesn't having any gaging spells now and his tummy is not gurgling anymore. We are thinking about trying to handle the reflux with out medications. We didn;t give him his medication yesterday and he was more content and slept better.
