I know what DGE is--the tummy doesn't empty fast enough--but how long does that last? Is that something they have to always deal with, or is it something they will grow out of? We're supposed to start my little guy on erithromicyn tomorrow, but how long do kids usually stay on it?  TIA!!

I think and don't quote me on this, but I think the Prilosec can cause DGE so hopefully once he doesn't need meds anymore it "should" go away. I know prevacid can cause it... so my gut tells me that prilosec can as well.
