![]() Topic: Gelmix thickener?Posted: 04 November 2010 at 9:40pm |

I have been reading on other forums about Gelmix, a thickener for breast milk and formula. I went to their website and saw lots of good things about it. I was wondering if someone else has tried it. It's supposed to have very little calories, no side effects and it is organic....I'm curious.

No personal experience but I've also heard good things about it! It's supposed to be very allergy friendly as well. :)

Personally, I don't think thickening breastmilk is a good idea, but that's ME and I have no experience w/ it, etc.
I suppose it depends on WHY one needs to thicken- if it's bcse baby is vomitting so much s/he can't gain weight, if a Swallow Study (modified barium study I think it's also called) has been done and it's found, as a result of the test, that thickening needs to occur, etc
