Hi,

I was wondering how this turned out. My wife and I have twin boys, both a little more than a month old, both are on Neocate for two weeks now after a trip to the ER and a night in the hospital with them.

It has helped one dramatically, (he had significant blood in his stool, and was not gaining weight at all), both are gaining weight well now.

However, we are also seeing incredible gas pains with both of them. It is killing us to watch them suffer through it every time they eat, which means at their age pretty much constantly, never mind that we are not getting any sleep at all, and are starting to deteriorate ourselves.

I know they say it starts to improve after two week, I was just wondering how quickly after, we've seen a lot of their issues that required the neocate clear up very quickly, but the gas just gets worse.

Watching?

if that's a reference to the name, it's the online moniker I've used for years, started as a video game name (Spartacus meets Monty Python basically).

If its to my boys situation, no real change, we've started adding mylanta to no avail, but to be fair that's only been one day, and limited amounts (1 ml twice a day) though we'll be increasing it once we're sure no diarrhea.

It's been 2 and a half weeks and their gas is worse than ever, kills us to watch the, writhe and moan. Just hope we see Improvement before 6 weeks.

I have a LOT more to say and most of it's here, in a link called 'groupie intro.'
It's looOong but TRULY will help you-
read through it, refer back to it, scroll through it/skim through it.
You'll find yourself coming back to it!
