Im starting to think that I am crazy, or misinformed, or overreacting, or Olivia's doctor doesnt know what the hell she's talking about. So Olivia's refusal to eat does not seem to be getting any better and seems to be getting worse on some days. Some days she drinks 11 oz, some days 15, some days 17. She initially told me that it was probably because of sore throat caused by the reflux and to come back in for a weight check in a week. She also told me that if she refuses wait an hour and try again. Went back in for the weight check and she had gained 1 oz. I also told the doctor that she is easier to feed in the evenings. So now her theory is that this is just normal and 17 oz is a good amount for an almost 13 pound 13 wk old. She probably is just an evening eater?! I can't even go 15 hours without eating not feel sick. She also told me to feed her on demand and if she's not acting hungry don't force the bottle on her. WTH, she just told me a week ago to keep trying every hour. Everthing that I've read says that a good rule of thumb for how much formula she should be taking is her weight multiplied by 2.5. Am I just misinformed on the issue and overreacting. My girl would eat 4 - 5 ounces 6 times a day up until 2 weeks ago.
Olivia - June 2011 - Axid 1 ml 2 x daily - formula fed

Brendan - December 2004 - never had problems with Reflux
