my daughter has just been diagnosed with silent reflux. She takes after her brother unfortunately:) we never had issues with giving him ranitidine, but she does not want to swallow it and spits it out. any advice on what worked for you? thanks!

That stuff is HORRID tasting!! I learned real fast to NOT lick my finger if I got any on it. My son started on the ranitidine at about a week old and never minded it. But he loved All medicine. My second son hated the stuff. I never could get him to take it.
I'm sorry I'm not much help!! And I am sorry too that your little one has reflux. I hope you find something soon that helps her! |

you can mix it w/
some mylanta cherry supreme. Actual mylanta brand isn't made anymore, but you can find a generic equivelent. it's the one variety of mylanta that does not contain aluminum. try rite-aid, cvs brand, walmart, target, Bartell Drug (West coast), Dollar General: brand name Geri-Care Geri-Lanta Supreme, meijer, etc- just look for one that does not list aluminum in the ingredients. you can give 1ml up to 5 times a day- it's safe, even for newborns. if you see loose stools back off. |
