So I have some questions that I could use all of your help with.

7 week old Ezra has been on 30/mg a day of Prevacid capsules used with the products. We have seen some improvement, but he still has many symptoms. We're giving him 15 mg twice a day. Since going on this high of a dosage he has gone from having 1-2 bm's a day, to going over 4 days without. He has foul smelling poop and lots of foul smelling farts. I got the GI specialist to switch us onto prilosec capsules to use with the products, but she only wants to give him 20 mg a day. He is exclusively BF. So here are my questions:

If I switch from prevacid to prilosec, will there be a relapse period in between or should we be fine since they're both PPI's?

Can I use OVC prilosec to make up the difference in dosage? in other words, 20 mg RX and 10 mg OVC?

Do the products tend to "wear off" over time? We're making two weeks at a time, but I'm wondering if we should only do one week at a time because maybe the suspension is getting a bit old by day 10 or so?

Can high doses of PPI's create constipation and gas and if so, what can I give him to relieve this problem besides digestive enzymes which we're already doing.
