In my obsessive mom way...I tried to research it a little more and didn't find anything with a clear cut answer...but I did read one thing that said probiotics can really help kids with dennie lines and dark circles b/c it helps their bodies digest the proteins better.  Do you have Reidun on any?  Do you recommend any?

I have not started Reidun on any probiotics yet, but I am going to! (I just found out about this treatment myself :) I learned of a frequently recommended probiotic from another group that has many mothers using probiotics. I attached both a link to the other group and the manufacture of the probiotic from bluebonnet nutrition below:

I have a learned a lot from other mothers out there! (Thank you!!) I visit four sites. I'll try to add any other information that I learn to this site. I'm trying to keep all this information together so it will be easier to get a hold of. When you have a baby that needs extra attention, and you need answers fast, the last thing you want to do is search endlessly for it.

I think it would be neat if I (or someone else) could figure out a way for other mothers out there who are having these problems, to find sites like this easier. It took me almost 7 months--that is too long!

Why are allergies/intolerances increasing? Interesting links:

Wow!!! Thank you so much for sharing your story!
Just thought I'd share, that my older one (without allergies or reflux) always used to have the kind of banana poops that your described.  It took a while for us to figure out that it was just the banana seeds and fibres.  Just in case you want to give it another go...

Good luck with the food trials.

Hailey-05/05- My funny little girl. 4 years old, but still my baby.
Past feeding aversion. Now typical eater, off prevacid for 1.5 years!

Has anyone read this book? "Is This Your Child" by Doris J. Rapp, M.D.

It looks really good, and seems to be getting good reviews. I just stumbled upon it.

IS THIS YOUR CHILD?

These are the major symptoms of potentially unrecognized allergies. Does your child suffer from any of the following?

• Allergic Nose Rub • Eye Circles • Red Ears • Red Cheeks • Eye Wrinkles • Aggression • Lack of Alertness • Mottled Tongue •

In this breakthrough book, Dr. Doris Rapp offers a simple yet effective approach to handling "problem" children. Is This Your Child? shows parents how to identify the common foods, chemicals, or common allergic substances that could be the culprits that cause some children or adults to feel unwell or act inappropriately. If your child is always sick, hyperactive, a slow learner, or cranky, the first question you should ask is not "What drug should be prescribed?" or "What have I done wrong as a parent?" Instead, find out the cause.

Dr. Rapp gives sensible suggestions about how these reactions to foods and environmental factors can be recognized, prevented, and treated. With this information, many affected children should feel, act, behave, and learn better. If you can detect unsuspected environmental illness in your child--or yourself--you can change your lives so you're more content, happy, and free of illness.

I just watched the Martha Stewart Show BabyCakes episode where they made brownies and cinnamon coffee cake.  Yumm, it got me interested….

“BabyCakes offers all natural, organic and delicious alternatives free from the common allergens: wheat, gluten, dairy, casein and eggs” and more. It looks like they also deliver anywhere in the states too!!

Unfortunately, it’s pricy….

$11.00 for 12 brownies + $49.85 for shipping from NY to Eugene, OR= $60.86!!!

Here is a link to their calculator, http://babycakesnyc.com/shipping-calculator.html, they also have a menu posted with ingredients.

If anyone is lucky enough to try their sweets, let me know…
