Is the Britax Marathon the best car seat to get for a 4 month old refluxer? Laura was nice to suggest it, but it is expensive so I just wanted to be sure before I run the credit card! I really want to find a seat that Jackson is not miserable in.

We love our Britax Marathon! We did not have it when Dylan was 4 months old, though. This is the one we graduated him to when he was too big for the carrier. It can go forwards or backwards, and it just felt really safe. We now use it for Carter as Dylan is in a booster.

Hopefully someone that used it at a younger age will chime in, but keep in mind that you will not have to buy another carseat after this one as I think it goes up to a significant weight!

We bought a Britaz Wizard for Kaelyn around 5 months and absolutely love it. With Alex we had to buy three seats (me, dh, mil) and we just couldn’t afford Britax so we went with a Fisher Price Safe Voyage deluxe which is actually made by Britax. It’s still a nice seat, but I definitely prefer the Britax. We actually put both Britax seats in my car and both girls use the Fisher Price in dh’s car since we use my car much more often.

That being said, Alex absolutely hates the car seat no matter what seat she’s in, so the seat isn’t always the answer.
