Extremely mucousy!

Anyone else have moments where their LO sounds like they are practically drowning in mucous? I know it isn’t in her lungs, because the ped listens and they are clear. I try aspirating her nose, but only small amounts come out. This is the most unnerving thing to me, and I am an RN!!! It only happens at certain times, but when it does it is horrible! Any suggestions would be wonderful.

take a look at diet?

also SALINE- up the nose- do not aspirate- let gravity do it’s thing…

Thanks, I do put saline up her nose, but I aspirate afterwards. I will just try the saline and see what happens. I will be addressing this problem next week with the GI.
