My son was born in October 2012 and suffered with acid reflux for the first year of his life. It was miserable constant spit ups, fussiness, and expensive prescriptions. I thought there was no way it could happen again with my second child…. And it did!! I am beyond frustrated! My little Harper is 4 weeks now and we have just had to put her in Zantac. She is starting to have better days as far as the fussiness except when she gets in her eat/spit up/scream/eat/spit up/scream pattern. For me it is the spit up that is the worst. Her and I are constantly covered in puke. Last night she puked all down the front of me while nursing, soaking my bra at 3 am. She constantly smells of spoiled milk and I am so terrified of her starting daycare. My son was home for his first year so we were the only ones that dealt with it but she will start daycare at the end of October. I am so worried they won’t hold her and show her as much attention because of her constant spit ups. One of the teachers in my sons room already told me about a little baby that constantly smells of puke. She was obviously disgusted by it. Please tell me someone else is dealing with 24/7 puke!! I am so sad and frustrated!! Why us??? Twice!!!! I need to know we are no the only ones!!
