DD has always been a good eater. Great latcher. Lately, she will eat the first two ounces really well, burp in between or at two ounces and then the last two ounces she turns into a squirmy worm. Is this due to her age (2.5 months) or is it something GI related (trapped air)? We burp as much as possible and she’s a good burper.

Sometimes she has feeds where she is squirmy the whole time.

Its a new thing for us in the last 2 weeks. Any ideas?

I have the same issue with the squirming, and I was also looking for some advice.

I will tell you that my son did this when his reflux was really bad and we found that he was MSPI. We switched his formula to an elemental (elecare) and then got him on proper medicine and all the squirming ended! I used to be so upset because I could not even hold him at times and feeding was a mess! Once we figured it out and made the changes he is a calm, healthy baby!!!

finding the right meds/med combo really helped my son w/ EVERYTHING – eating, sleeping, being happy

I breastfed and did the Total Elimination Diet and found it was not food related for my son. Sometimes it is & sometimes it isn’t….
