Ok, so I know McKenzie is only a little over three months old…but she had been super fussy lately and then the other day when she was on the changing table she opened her mouth wide and I saw them…two white patches where her bottom two teeth will come in. She has been drooling like crazy but I had alwyas attributed that to the reflux…but she has also been CHOMPING on her hand…so do ya’ll think those teeth could be trying to poke thier way through? I know it may seem like a no brainer, but with Brianna her teeth could be just sitting right there for months before they decided to show..and McKenzie is so young…what do you think? Also, does anyone know if three months old is too young to rub benedryl on the gums?
jonah got his first tooth very early, more like 4 months…and he just kept getting them, lol! by the time he was 2 he already had all his teeth- when he cries, he opens his mouth wide (still does, HA!) and people used to remark on “all those teeth!”
Cooper’s first tooth came through when he was 4.5 months old. I didn’t even know it was coming until it had popped through so it is possible. He got a bad diaper rash and was a real pain one day and I decided to see what was going on and rubbed my finger on his lower gum and hit a nice sharp edge…. He was probably fussy before for a bit but we were trying to get reflux meds under control so I attributed it to the reflux as well and shoot we still wear bibs all the time now for his drool so I really don’t know when he is actually cutting teeth until they pop out. (BTW we already have 12 teeth and have since 13 months only have the eye teeth and 2 yr molars left)
