Ladies,

I took Mr. Evan in for his 4 month apt. today. He’s doing so well on his Zegerid and is a happy baby most days, however, we continue to struggle with the loose stools and at least one liquid yellow (SORRY, if TMI) per day. The Ped suggested that it may be the Alimentum. She suggested we slowly work our way back to soy. What do you think, is it too soon to be moving back? He has been on the Alimentum 10 weeks. She really didn’t seem to be very confident in her decision, so I am not sure if I should try it.

What are your thoughts??

do you think he has MSPI? are you using powder or RTF alimentum?

At four months old, I would think that whatever was bothering him that he needed to be put on Alimentum, would likely still be there. He’s still so young. I’d be very nervous about switching to soy. Did she suggest maybe adding some cereal to bind him up a little?

Glad to hear is doing well otherwise.
