I need some advice…..my son Luke has been on Alimentum since he was 8 wks old….2 wks ago his Ped. put him on regular Similac for a trial. Today I noticed that he has this rash on his face that hasn’t been there before today. Could this be a reaction to the milk 2 wks later? Any advice would be appreciated.

yes i def. think it could be. any other symptoms? mucous in stool? i would run this by the doc and consider switching back to alimentum.

how is his reflux?

His reflex has been under control (and dare I say) pretty much gone for the past month. He has no other symptoms of intolerance or allergy except for the rash.

Kaelyn’s milk allergy first appeared as a rash on her face. As she took in more milk products the rash spread to the rest of her body. I’m really worried about a milk allergy with Alex right now because she has a rash on several areas of her body.
