Hey ladies

I feel like I have been living under a rock…

I thought with meds like pepcid/zantac there was NO wait time as far as

meals/bottles

When my 3yr old was 2 weeks we started him on zantac and I don’t

remember a wait time…I don’t remember a wait time when my younger

dd, now 18mnth, was on pepcid

i just read an article that rec a 30min wait before meals when using meds

like pepcid/zantac,….have things changed??

i was told there is no wait time with h2 blockers.

I was also told there is no wait time for H2 blockers. The instructions that come with it also don’t suggest it. If you are really concerned try ringing/emailing the company that produce it and ask. I have found when I do that they always get back pretty promptly. I would be interested in knowing their reply if you do this.

My GI said it didn’t matter as long as you didn’t give it at the same time as other medicines…(mylanta, etc)
