Haven’t been around for a little bit-stupid computer decided have some issues-anyway, Aidan is fine now, the nebulizer really kicked the crap out of the RSV. He’s still a bit wheezy if he runs around (yes I said RUNS around, it’s ridiculous that he can run and looks VERY funny) or laughs to hard. I still have him on the prevacid even though he was suposed to be off when he turned one, it’s lucky I had an extra refill. He STILL only has 4 teeth and is getting 4 more at the moment.

Last ENT visit his ears were fine, no fluid and I think his speech is a bit better, still kind of a slow talker, mostly b/c his brother has a habit of talking FOR him!

He still won’t touch milk, not lactose free, whole, skim, rice, soy, chocolate, or strawberry (yes I tried everything-lol) and is still on about 2 bottles a day, though I am slowly mixing milk in-had to start at a 1/2 ounce of milk in the bottle at a time. But he eats tons of yo baby and loves whole milk string cheese. Anyway, just wanted to pop in and see how everyone else was doing!!!

That’s great, Jill. I was going to post a question for you because I was wondering how Aidan was doing, so thanks for the update!! I’m glad he’s feeling better and doing well.

I was wondering where you had been. Glad to hear Aidan is going so well!!!

When are you going to try and wean him from prevacid? We are going to start after Brianna gets over this darn cold she has…I am nervous!

well, he was suposed to be off at one, but I had an extra refill, and still have some leftover packets. I think I’ll try when that all runs out, probably at the end of this month. I am going to make an appt. to talk about the fact that he’s still refluxing, and my fears that he’ll still be in pain if I take him off, although I think I might wait and see if a little mylanta will be ok once he’s off the prevacid before calling the doc, who knows!!! LOL! I am taking him down to 15 mg though, I don’t think he needs 30 anymore.

Good luck, Jill. I hope he can come off meds soon. It was such a huge relief for me when Myles came off of his meds and did fine.

good luck on the stepping down…we have Brianna down to about 10mgs now (from 30 a few months ago) and I was so excited when she was OK on that amount!

I’m giving him 15 now, er about 15, htey are solutabs so who knows, I break them in half then in half again, so it’s about 7.5ish 2 times a day (sometimes once, I’m forgetful). He eats a TON so it’s very hard to get them into him on an empty tummy and get him to wait an hour (heck it’s hard getting him to wait 5 mins-lol) to eat, so I know that they haven’t been working as well as they could be, and he still seems fine. Brianna’s pic is SOOOOO cute!!!! What a doll!

Thank you……I have been trying to figure out that lilypie thing, and today I finally did.(i am techniclogically challenged ) I love your picture of Austin and Aidan too. That is great that Aidan is doing to well on 15mg of prevacid…I am the same way with the amount we give Brianna…sometimes it is probably only 7.5mg and sometimes it is probably closer to 12, but I don’t really care…I am just glad she is down from 30 and still doing OK. She has a nasty cold now so we aren’t moving her meds until it is over. I told my GI that I just was so sick of guessing if it was this or that, or if it was the decrease in meds for any problems, so I was going to wait for a time when she wasn’t teething or sick. He was OK with that (but I didn’t really give him a choice in the matter!) b’s mom2007-1-11 20:28:50
