hi everyone

Just wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone that helped me through my hard times. the update: grace started the neocate a few months ago and continued on the compounded prevacid….she is now on 2.5 ml’s 2xday. after i started her on the neocate the choking stopped… no more milk out of the nose…. only spitting up like crazy(which i will take over choking anyday) soooo….im not sure wether she stopped choking with the sandifers cause of the neocate or wether it was just her growing out of it naturally?

she is gaining weight wonderfully. the only problem i had was she was not having a bowel movement… and i mean for like a week at a time. i started to push her legs back to force the poopoo out and this is the only way it would come. her poop was like marbles, with blood from the straining. so she went to her gi doc and i demonstrated our “pooping show” he even saw the blood and all. so he put her on millk of mag 2xday…. she has improved with the mom. such a short lifetime and sooo many meds!!!!!

as for me i am back to work full time as a nurse, working third shift

I have started to have some piece of mind that my dd wasn’t going to choke herself to death. I now resume my normal life, or so called

so i am waiting patiently to hope that we can eventually take her off the neocate and if this is all going to be a bad memory…..but i always say that everything in life happens for a reason and i have learned alot from my dd.

I am going to try to keep in touch with new moms and help when i can but i never have time for the computer, but i would like to thank all of you other moms who helped me through my hard times. i couldn’t have done it w/o you all
