InactiveI am on day 4 of a switch from Alimentum to Good Start. Everything so far (KNOCK ON WOOD!) is going fantastic.
I am up to 80% Good Start and 20% Alimentum. Is it too soon to make a complete switch? Can I go ahead and give her full Good Start tomorrow? We haven’t had any rashes, diarrhea, fussiness…or any symptoms to make me doubt the switch. (a little gas but I’m not worried about it) I know her little body needs time to adjust, but she’s doing great so far so I wasn’t sure if I should keep at the 80/20 mix for another day or two or just go 100%? We did a two week yogurt trial just prior to this with good results…Opinions?
I know some of you have already given answers to a similar question in another post of mine but I guess mainly I’m trying to keep myself pre-occupied b/c we put an offer on a house and I’m waiting for the realtor to call with the answer!
We were supposed to know an hour ago!! I’m so impatient!!!!

Inactivehey amy, that is so great and i would just go ahead with the switch. it sounds like she will do fine! and with the offer on the house if you ever need any help with the mortgage or any questions my husband is a mortgage banker
i’m sure he’d be happy to help!February 5, 2007 at 8:46 pm #24169Anonymous

InactiveOK, now I’m not sure…the sitter just called. I didn’t get to pick up Sarah today b/c I had to stay late at school. She was calling to see if we heard about the house (which we still haven’t!!!
) Anyway, when talking to her about Sarah’s bottles, she said she didn’t drink as much as normal. Not anything too alarming, just not as much as normal. She also said she didn’t sleep as long. Granted, she still took two, TWO hour long naps, but for daycare that’s about 1-2 hours less than normal. Hmmm, am I reading into this too much?February 6, 2007 at 3:48 am #24184Anonymous
InactiveNew photo- what a cutie
. I guess I would just make the switch to 100% because if she is intolerant it will be to the 100% or 80%. Might take a few days of change in her feeding/sleepign to work out if it is a reaction. I know Alana on occasion has had two or three day stretches where her formula intake is about 100mls less at a couple of feeds, but she seems fine- just not as hungry. I guess that happens to us sometimes (although not when chocolate is on the menu
). Hopefully its just an aberation!Goodluck with the house
