We actually have an Avent sterilizer that we had from when Alexis was a baby, not too long ago, they didn’t have the Dr. Brown’s one yet. The sterilizer is very simple and a God Send!!! You just wash the bottles and put them in the saucer add 7 oz of water put the cover and and throw it in the mircowave for 4 minutes. That’s all you do, it works wonderfully!!! I know I hate all the bottle parts too, DH doesn’t even wash any bottles since he hates the little parts! Alexis’s mom2007-2-12 22:19:39

We also use the Avent microwave steam sterilizer. I swear it’s a gift from heaven! I wish I’d known about it for when Sarah was a baby. (And we use it with dr. b’s bottles, by the way)!

Ok, so I got the sterilizer today, and it’s not what I thought it was! I thought you could put dirty bottles in there and they’d be cleaned, which isn’t the case. You still have to clean them, and this just sterilizes them. That’s fine, but I wanted LESS work…so I think I’m going to just return it. Does anyone know of a bottle cleaner like I’m looking for? Thanks!

I don’t think they make anything that cleans bottles that way. Only the dishwasher! Too bad since I would love something like that as well.
