ok, this week We have noticed that I am seeing Chloe’s reflux, before we knew she was refluxing but never saw her spitting up. do you think this could be getting worse, or could this be better.

Does she seem to be in pain? Is she on a PPI? I knwo I have heard of babies here who had an increase in spitting up once on a PPI…maybe becuase it finally didn’t hurt. As long as she doesn’t seem in pain, I think it is OK. meds don’t stop the spit up, they just stop the pain.

It is fairly common for silent refluxers to have periods of time where they start to spit up. I wouldn’t worry to much about it.

How did you know she was refluxing before the spit up?

there are signs of silent reflux for example it pools in their mouth or you see them swallowing liquid back down.
