InactiveI have tried giving them to Brianna. Honestly, I can’t remember the brand, but I will look in the fridge when I go upstairs. For us, if anything it actually made her digetsion worse. They seem to give her major stomach cramps. Actually when I was on them, that same thing happened to me. All it really did was give her loser stools than normal. Figures…only Brianna.

Inactiveit does cause looser stools for shane as well.. i just give him half of what they recommend for kids..and now he’s fine. i am not sure if they help soo much with the reflux..but i know it cant hurt.. they give your stomach good bacteria.. expecially important when they are on ppi’s i heard. we only give it to him like once a week.. and the names that laura gave are good.. i think they are pretty good as long as they say “infants” probiotics.. so they contain the strains that are found particulary in infants.

InactiveWell we could use some looser stools around my house!!! Sarah has been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO constipated! Which probiotic would be good for aiding digestion? Are they all good for that? And, I noticed Lauren said she gives it to Shane 1 x a week…is that typical? Or is it a daily thing like a vitamin?

InactiveI think probiotics will pretty much “regulate” your digestive system. So it would probably help with either constipation or diarrhea. They help Bryce when he has diarrhea (like from antibiotics). You can give them daily like a multivitamin (that’s what we usually do).

InactiveWe used baby Jarrodophilus. I stopped giving them after a while b/c they gave her bad gas. We’re going to try a new brand soon.

Inactiveyep.. i give it once a week.. because he was getting gassy too and i think it was too much on his system.. as well as going to the bathroom like 5 times a day!! soo i guess its how ever often your child is able to handle them. and we are using udo’s choice as well..and they seem to be fine with him!

InactiveWell, Ben’s stools are always loose, and he goes fairly regularly these days. Maybe I shouldn’t try them???? I just thought it would help him digest things better. Hmmmm…
Do you know if you can buy them over the counter, or do you have to order a particular kind?

InactiveOn another note. Maybe they would really help my chronically constipated daughter!

InactiveI just received Sarah’s probiotic in the mail. It’s iFlora for Kids age 0-1 year. I am so excited to get started! I gave her a dose tonight with her bottle. How soon before I should notice anything good OR bad? I will probably give it daily unless it totally makes her system whack-o…maybe every 2-3 days then or something. Who knows! As with everything else in Sarah’s life…I’ll keep you posted!
