If you are looking for the email addresses of TV shows, so you can help spread the message about food allergies/intoleraces, scroll to the middle of the page…

Parents, my goal is for other familes dealing with MSPI/MFPI to be able to find sites like this one easier–it took me 7 months to find this site, and I think that is way too long! This site offers such an amazing support to parents! I have listed other related support groups below for people looking for support groups similiar to this one:

I have also put a list of key words together, in hopes of making this site easier to find by search engines. If someone is looking for help, and uses the key words that I have been able to think of, I hope their search engine will direct them to here. If anyone else can think of another way to get the message out there, please let me know. I think it would be great if we could get the information about food intolerances/allergies out there through TV (Oprah would be REALLY great, but that would be a long-shot .)

OK, I talked to my husband (he is a software designer). It will take google and other search engines a couple weeks or more to pick this up. When I was trying to get to this site using key words, I got some really old postings–so this makes sense.

To get a higher page rank, I need to change the title of this topic to something that includes some or one of the key words. Any suggestions? Also, getting more well known/used sites to have a link to this site will help. So if any of you want to try to get other sites to provide a link to this one, that would be great!

Heidi – I just wanted to add that during the first 2 months of my DD’s life I spent a lot of time on the internet trying to figure out what was going on with her. I NEVER found this site. Finally, one day it appeared on a google search and I’m still scratching my head why it took so long to come across it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for trying to make things easier for other families out there!

Thank you for posting your reply. It took me almost 7 months to find this site, and I too was doing a lot of research online. I know there has to be other mothers out there like I us, trying to find a place like this!

Sometimes I feel a little crazy being so obsessive about this

You’re not crazy at all!!! I feel the same way…I want to help as many people as I can so they don’t have to go through the unwanted stress and agony of dealing with a reflux/MSPI baby! Kudos to you!!!!

Heidi, Thanks for compiling all of this great info! I too searched online for everything I could find because my son was said to have “colic” and would grow out of it. I never believed that as he was miserable 90% of the day!! In all my research (and I did lots of it!!) I never stumbled across the terms MSPI or intolerances. I knew he didn’t have a standard allergy, but didn’t know about delayed reactions and reactions to the proteins in my milk.

Can you add some other terms to your keyword list? breastfeeding, breastfed, spit up, spitup, vomit, fussiness, fussy, constipation, diarrhea, gas pain, gas

Thanks again for all your hard work!
