Lori – Glad you feel the same way about Survivor! Yes, Rocky’s constant complaining is getting annoying! I don’t really have a favorite either. I like the older asian man but I just don’t see how he’ll be able to hold up during the challenges…group and individual…to stay in the game. I didn’t see the previews for next week so that makes me feel a little better that they’re switching it up…finally!!!!

Yes, Amy, the old Asian guy doesn’t stand a chance. I just thought it was cute when by fluke, he managed to push the young girl from the other tribe off the platform and then said “It was a win, but an ugly win. picking on a young girl”. He’s so thin and frail looking that it looks like a gust of wind could blow him over.

I’m so sorry Therese! I must have missed the question. Carrie has been very successful in the U.S. She is one of the biggest idol winners so far. She has won a lot of Grammys (our music awards for all genres) and had great album sales. There have been several idol winners that haven’t really done anything…but it’s still an addicting show to watch!

TBH I was glad to see Sundance go. I thought he had a pretty poor voice

(although he can sing bluesy music well) and stunk on the Pearl Jam song.

However, Sanjaya certainly should have gone before him. Also was upset to

see Sabrina go before Hailey… Favorite is Melind Doolittle. Have to admit I

like that Blake guy too.

I don’t think Sundance would have made it much further, but Sanjaya definitely should have gone first! It will be interesting to see how they all do with Diana Ross songs tomorrow night.

Any thoughts on the vote last night?…

I was really hoping that the universe would right itself and vote Sanjaya off. But I also don’t think that Brandon has the stuff to go very far, so I’m not terribly surprised that he went home. Basically, Sanjaya, Haley, both guys named Chris are pretty boring imo.

Just leaves me with one question. Who the heck is voting for Sanjaya??????

My guess is that it is the goo-goo eyed little teeny-boppers that are voting for Sanjaya mainly because of his hair. But that is just my opinion. I can’t believe he even made it into the finals.

Melinda is still my favorite but knowing that show, she will probably be voted off next. I can’t believe there will be 11 more weeks of this – why don’t they do a double or triple elimination night and just get it done??

Yeah!!! WHO is voting for Sanjaya!?!? Robin – I don’t know about the young girls b/c the 12-14 year olds that I teach think his hair is ridiculous! I agree he should go home SOON but I didn’t disagree with Brandon either. At least it’s only 2 nights a week now.

Yes, thank goodness it’s only 2 shows a week!!! And thank goodness as well for Tivo- it’s the only way I can remotely tolerate the results show! s&h’s mum2007-3-15 12:33:17

I just started trying to catch this season. I saw the Diana Ross episode and I think Jordin stole the show that night!! I don’t know how she’s done in previous episodes, but she’s my favorite right now!

Tivo is like programmable television. We don’t actually have “Tivo” here, but we have a Canadian Version. It basically turns the TV into a VCR… you can record multiple shows at the same time with just the touch of a few buttons, and you can also pause, rewind and fast-forward live TV.

I basically record all my shows, and then watch them and fast-forward through the commercials. With American Idol, I also fast-forward through all the annoying bantor, and get right to the point (especially for the results show).
