I was just putting 6.5ml of water into a teeny tupperware container, adding the 20mg packet and then sucking my daughter’s dose out of that with a small syringe.
Do I need a big syringe? Is this just for making it easy to prepare?
No, you do not have to have a big syringe. Most people use the big syringe to make several doses at a time. We make 6 packets at a time and suck that with a bulb syringe out of the big syringe. Just use whatever is easiest for you!
What worked best for us was to use a medicine bottle. I would mix and store the zegerid in a medicine bottle. I got it for free at a pharmacy. At first i put it in a cup and covered it with aluminum foil, but found out it was desingrating (sp). I actually had more once I used the bottle. Oh, and it mixes better in the bottle too.
