I have a 20 month old niece who can act very bratty at times. When my sister asks her to do something or to come to her, she replies “no, no, no” and shakes her head. At times, when she doesn’t get what she wants (my niece), she starts crying and gets hysterical. My sister leaves the room to give her the chance to cool off. When she calms down, my sister kisses her and tells her that it was wrong of her to act that way. Of course she doesn’t fully understand it yet but eventually it’ll click.
