InactiveHi Amy, I keep on thinking to ask you about this. How is it all going with the move, househunting etc???

InactiveWell, we were set to close on our house on May 3rd and move into the new house on May 15th. During the 12 day lapse we were going to live with family. I found out a few days ago that the sale of my house fell apart!
There are 5 houses involved in the sale of mine…someone bought someone’s who bought someone’s….who was buying mine. The first people in the chain lost their financing so now no one can move! All of the houses (including mine) are officially back on the market. I’m hoping somewhere along the line, someone’s house will sell so that the chain can continue!! My realtor said if we don’t know anything by Monday then we will have to go back and redo all the contracts and extend them all.So I have no clue what is going to happen! It is all very stressful and frustrating! We have moved quite a bit of stuff out of our house into storage already but I have put the rest of my packing on hold. What really stinks is that Sundays are DH’s only day to help move (b/c that’s his only day off with baseball season for another few weeks). Now we’re going to lose a valuable Sunday this weekend b/c we don’t know what’s going to happen. We are having Sarah’s birthday party on Sunday and several family members were coming earlier and staying later to help move…and now we don’t have any work for them to do! Bummer!
Thank you so much for asking!
I’ll keep you updated if I find out anything else. SOOOO stressful! I LOVE Alana’s new picture!!!!!!!!!!

InactiveYou poor thing…I think selling and buying realestate is the most stressful thing in the world
. I hope someone in the chain has some good real estate luck soon. How exciting….1 year old. At least we don’t re-experience those contractions every year

Hey you changed your ticker…starting to walk….tell us more

InactiveOMG!!! That would be awful if we had to re-experience contractions every birthday! That would be excellent birth control if you had that constant reminder!!!

Yes, real estate sucks!! It was so much easier when we rented.
Maybe this is all a blessing in disguise and it is just buying us more time so we won’t have that “homeless” lapse and have to live with family?!?!? Trying to think positive…Sarah is trying to walk but we’re not quite running marathons yet. She will walk 8-10 steps at the most right now before falling. She doesn’t quite have her balance yet! The funny thing is that we don’t have any furniture left in the living room right now (other than couches and TV) so it’s a WIDE open space for her to practice!
Here’s two pics of her today…one walking and the other practicing her new favorite position…upside down!

InactiveAmy, Sorry to hear about the move. How frustrating!!
But, very cute pictures of Sarah walking!! Therese & Amy, I also really like the updated ticker pictures. One of these days I’ll update Reiduns. We have some exciting news–Reidun walked for the first time on her own, four amazing steps
She also stood 10 min on her own. April 21, 2007 at 10:37 pm #31148Anonymous
InactiveYAY REIDUN!!! That is fantastic! Sarah needs to practice standing for longer periods of time…she is just too active! She won’t sit still for ANYTHING! I think that is what is keeping her from being a better walker…she’s too impatient to try to improve her balance/standing!
