Was it me that sent them to you? If so, I could send you a couple more if you want. Mine still work good and I would be willing to send them to you as we only use one now that Abby is only on one dose per day now. I also have a TON of small syringes with tip caps. Just PM me if you are interested.

Robin was gracious enough to send me a few large syringes, but my smaller syringes for individual doses were purchased at Wal Mart. They were in the section with pill containers, thermometers, etc…It’s about $1.15 or so for a package that comes with 2 other types of medicinal syringes. I bought a TON, threw away the other syringe types and now have about 13 small syringes w/ tip caps for ind. doses. It’s been GREAT doing it this way.

I also use the Medela steam clean bags to clean all my “zegerid mixing” parts. Those have been great! I think it has helped prolong the life of my larger syringes.

Amy, I like the suggestion of using the Medela steam cleaning bags. I hadn’t thought of that. And I have looked at Walmart, but I will certainly look again!

Hi, I’m new to the site and have a question regarding administrating zegrid. I have been mixing the 40mg packages as described on the marci-kids site with 6.5ml water. I then pull up the dose of the Zegrid with syringe then pull up the Mylanta in the same syringe, push out into small glass bowl, mix it and refill then administer. Is this correct? or can you use the 20ml syringe and add in the Mylanta to it and then administer?

Hi Denisa. Welcome! I did not use Zegerid so I can’t answer your question but I wanted to welcome you to the site.
