InactiveI turned 30 a couple of weeks ago, and said I was going to buy myself a bigger diamond……. Anyway, my husband said okay, and didn’t put up a fight, so suddenly it wasn’t as much of a fun idea as I thought!
Anyway, I’ve been dying to get a good camera, I’m taking an online class right now to REALLY learn how to use one other than on automatic mode. Griffin has basically destroyed my digital that I have right now, so I’d like to give that to my husband for his hunting adventures, and get me something nice.
BY THE WAY, what the heck does DH, DD, DS stand for on here? I know that it’s the way of decribing your children/spouse, but I havn’t figured out what it means. I’m not a big IM girl so I’m lost here….. It took me forever to figure out SAHM!

Anyway, back to the camera, anyone have a really nice camera and want to share what kind????

InactiveOh my gosh, that’s what I thought all along, but I thought that was too easy. I’m really not a uneducated as I sound, but I’m really not all that into computers, texting, etc……
Thanks for straightening me out! I asked everyone I work with and no one had an answer.

InactiveI have a Nikon D70s. I love it!!
What’s the online class? I could definitely use it. I have a great camera with all kinds of versatility but all I ever use is the pre-programmed modes. I know I could take much better photos if I’d learn more about how to use the camera.

InactiveWe have a digital Canon camera that I love but I only know how to use it on the automatic setting too. I am not sure of the model but its a few years old and probaly already outdated. I would suggest going to look at some cameras at Wolf Camera even if you don’t buy from them. Their sales people usually are very knowledgeable and can explain and show a bunch of different ones to you. I’d also check out Consumer Reports.

InactiveWe have a Cannon EOS 20D it is very fast and easy to use! My only conplaint is it is a little large and heavy for me. The quality of the pictures are great. But I don’t think any camera is fast enough to catch these kids!!!

InactiveI’ll let you all know what I learn, b/c supposedly I will learn what all those settings are for.
I’m learning how to adjust shutter speed, use burst mode, and what all that stuff means… If I can keep it all straight!!!
