Since my last posting in this topic, I have researched convertible car seats to ease the acid relfux pain that my daughter is having while placed in her “travel system” car seat.
Do convertible car seats ease that pain? It is an investment in another seat…but we are willing to make the investment if it helps.
Typically with convertible seats, the child sits up straighter than in the travel system. It did not change anything as far as reflux goes with my dd bc by then she was already doing well, but others here have said that they saw improvement. My dd was just more comfortable in her seat since it is much more cushioned. With our next child, we will start with the convertible seat and skip the travel system all together.
