I haven’t tried any of those 3. Are any of them OTC? We do not see a new GI until 6/13. We’re having tons of breakthrough acid at night (obviously) and I just made another desperate call to our ped to up our Prevacid to 30mg…waiting on a callback.
yes- we use pepcid complete otc for night time acid. it worked SO much better than zantac for us. its because the “complete” part is mylanta. and the pepcid is overall a more effective h2 blocker than zantac. i emailed dr phillips and he gave me the proper dose for my son. you could do the same! good luck!
also, make sure to space h2 blockers 4 hours apart from a PPI.
Also, if you want to persist with Zantac they make it in an efferdose, you disolve in water and it is lemony flavoured. It worked really well for Alana. Its not OTC though so you would have to get a script. I was using it at Landen’s age from memory.
