Actually, believe it or not, I would probably have another one if we didn’t have so many already! A few months ago, I said on here that I was glad this was my last one because I could never go through this again.
So, as impossible as it is to believe at this point in time, the memory of this awful experience will fade, and you will have the rest of your life to enjoy your child.
At most, you probably have until age 1 (some take longer, but most are done by one) for your child to outgrow this. It seems like an eternity right now I know. But, you’ll be amazed when you look back on it just how quickly it really went by.
You have lots of support here! I will reiterate what Shelby said, YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
That’s so true. You soon forget how miserable it was. I said with Ellie that I’d never have another baby because things were so hard with her. Well, two years later I had Myles.
Myles’ reflux was worse than Ellie’s and I was so thanful that he was my last, but now I often think that if I was younger, had more money, and things were better with my marriage, that I’d have one more. You really do forget. And you learn alot about yourself. When this reflux thing is over you will look back and you will be in awe of yourself! You’ll say to yourself, “Wow that was impossible, but I did it and I did it well!!
