I should have posted this yesterday, but Bryce had surgery for his ptosis yesterday morning, and it went really well!
It was really quick, and we were back home yesterday afternoon. You’d
never know he even had surgery by the way he acts! He was crawling around playing as soon as we got home.
He just looks like
he has a black eye.
I can’t wait until the swelling goes down and the stitches come out so
we can see what it looks like. The surgeon thinks it will improve his
vision immensely.I’m glad that it went so well.
That’s wonderful news, Heather. I’m so glad that it went well, and that he has already bounced back afterwards. And really, it’s not all that uncommon for a 1 yr. to have a black eye anyway, right… especially with older brothers!

Bryce will still need the glasses and the patching. The ptosis affected his vision in a different way. The eyelid was drooping down over his pupil a little blocking some of the vision.
