I was wondering in people’s experience, when is the peak of the bad part of reflux?

I have “heard” many moms say 4 & 7 months. Maybe some of our experienced moms will chime in.

Landen seems to be peaking now. My goodness if it is going to get worse my next stop will be the looney bin!

I hope Leah is doing well

She was doing well–so basically I’ve been coming on the forum and reading everyone’s posts to keep up to date–but in the past three days she has had two episodes (choking thing)–I mean they are so much better than before however she is obviously NOT out of the woods

I do feel like I’m in the looney bin–I can’t even think about 7 mos sucking too!

Is Landen spitting up now?

Cooper has been worse the last 3-4 days as well. I have told by other moms 4&7 months….I am right there with you.

For Myles it was definitely 4 & 7 months.

For Bryce, his was bad around 4 months and again at 9 months. Of course at 9 months he started the erythromycin for vomiting, so I don’t know how bad it would have been without the meds.

With Aidan it was about 6-8ish months, once he started pulling up on things it got much better, (but it always got worse if he had a cold/ear infection or was teething) and it was gone(except for a few flareups) at about 10ish months

We seem to have had the very worst from about 4-6 months. Son number 1 and son number 4 were both over 2 before they got better and #1 and #4 startred having problems at age 5 & 6. My oldest is on the “purple pill” all the time and we only treat Liam when he needs it. He seems to have reflux problems when he has major issues with his JA.

Son # 2 and #3 outgrew it about 1 years old.
