I am using the tucker sling and wedge. Does anyone have any tricks or advice on how to place their baby on their stomach and attach the “diaper” without waking up the baby? What I mean is, many times when I am trying to place Peyton on his tummy (which he is most comfy) I get all caught up trying to put the diaper on that he gets aggrevated and wakes up! The hardest part is getting his legs situated. The few times I succeeded he slept well, but more often than not I end up waking him!
Also, just a general mommy question: What steps do I need to do to get him to sleep at longer stretches at night? RIght now his naps are better (1 hr) but he is waking up every 2 hrs at night. I am breastfeeding him. Sometimes when we get up he only nurses for a few minutes then falls back to sleep. I’m wondering if he really is hungry or if I’ve created a habit for him to get up. He is 6 weeks old, is it expected for him to still feed like that at night or will be sleep longer around 3 months? THanks!
Aby
