what happened to my baby

I’m no advice on night feedings, since Hailey just stopped them at almost 2 years old! I also like Kim West’s book mainly because she acknowledges reflux and it’s implication on sleep. I used Weissbluth for my first, and loved it a lot as well for my older one- the stuff about how to schedule sleep was great for Sarah. It didn’t work as well for Hailey b/c she was waking due to reflux. But I’d also look into some of those resources and the links that Laura sent and see if tweeking anything helps to get things on track.

Our ped tells parents to stop feeding at night at 6 months for healthy children without medical issues. For Hailey, he told us to keep feeding at night, b/c some babies with reflux/feeding aversions won’t take in enough during the day to sustain themselves. If you’re not sure whether or not to cut it out, then maybe you can talk to your doc and see what he thinks is best for your little one.

Good luck!
