Facebook is free, and you can get to it at http://www.facebook.com . I just love it – I found so many more old friends there than on myspace, and I found it so easy to use.

Here is a link to my limited public profile, just to give you an idea. Once someone is your “friend” on facebook, then you can see their full profile, message back and forth, view each other posted pictures, etc. It’s really neat – I’m afraid I’m hooked!
