Does anyone else have this problem. Since Cooper was born I ache all over all the time. I know that pregnancy and labor cause your joints to relax but I had a c-section and never truely went into labor. I would think that after 4 months my joints would go back to normal. But every time I get up in the middle of the night, my ankles hurt and I can hardly bear any weight at first. After I walk around a bit it gets better. And when I am in the floor playing with him and try to get up and straighten my back gosh it hurts. I feel like I am 80 with horrible arthritis. Anyone experiencing this? or have gone through this? Does it get better??
Yes, I have noticed this recently too. I never heard of the joint thing and labor though, I guess it makes sense. I mainly feel it when I am going up my stairs, I just feel so heavy and stiff and my lower back has been hurting a lot lately. I just contributed it to carrying around a 30+ lb. toddler and age (Dh warned me it gets tougher after 35!). I have also gained a lot of weight recently so I know that does not help either. I just feel like I have NO energy! I also worry because I have endometriosis and I just read last night that I may be more prone to autoimmune disorders like arthritis, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.
Beth It does get better. I had a lot of back pain after I had Chloe. I also had a c-section and until my abdominal muscles strengthened again it was pretty bad. Plus, if Cooper is anything like Chloe he is in your arms being carried around tons! Also, it takes some time for the ligaments to go back to normal.
