Here’s a run down of what is going on with Sarah…

She has had a runny nose off and on for about a week. Not consistent.

Thursday evening and Friday morning she had 2 diapers that were very very loose, practically diarrhea. NORMAL poos ever since…(No new foods had been introduced during those particular diapers)

Friday she started not wanting to eat as much as normal. She is using the sign for “all done” WAY before she has eaten as much as she normally would.

She has been sleeping a LOT! Crazy long naps and sleeping until 7 or 8am the past two days (as opposed to our normal 6-6:30)

I would think virus, teething, growth spurt, dairy problems, but she is NOT running a fever or anything and she has been in GREAT spirits!! Normally at the first sign of not feeling well she turns into whiny clingy crabby pants. She has been SO HAPPY THOUGH!!!???

Is this nothing? Minor coincidences? Or the start of something really nasty?

I know you are not doctors, just wondering if anyone has any input??? Sound like anything similar that you’ve dealt with???

Wow that’s a real stumper Amy I don’t have any great ideas, I’m sorry!!! Hopefully it’s all random and nothing crazy is going on. AND hopefully you don’t drive yourself nuts trying to piece it together!!!

My guess would probably be a combination of all the above! I found that sometimes in daycare the kids noses run even though they don’t have colds, kind of like they’re fighting it off. The diarrhea could have been food or viral. Hope she’s back to herself soon.

Maybe allergies? Like hay fever? If she is draining a bunch of snot, that could maybe account for the nasty diapers too. And, I know that if my nose is clogged or stuffed up my appetite is not that great either. Could account for the extra sleep too.

Does she have shiners around her eyes?

Hmmm, yes she’s always had dark circles under her eyes. People always say “awww, Sarah looks like she’s ready for a nap”. She usually isn’t…she just looks like it!
