I have always given Seth the solutabs on a baby spoon with a little dab of water which makes them start to dissolve because he will chew them if I give them to him directly. Lately though, he is really fighting me when I give them to him. Does anyone of your refluxers chew the tabs? I am just wondering if it makes them less effective since our pharmacist always put the label ‘do not crush or chew’ on them. TIA.

I think that chewing somehow does effect the effectiveness of the med, probably something to do with breaking down the beads or something. I know he is little, but has he ever had a lollipop or something he had to suck on? Could you tell him that is how he has to take the med, just to suck on it and let it dissolve that way? I don’t know.
