I would give motrin, put him in the bathroom with the shower running to get some steam in there and then go get a cool mist humidifier for his room.

Saline, suction and i have had great outcome (better sleep and better breathing) with an electric vapor vicks, (can’t remember the exact name,LOL) but it cost like $10 at walmart, you put the little suqare menthor thing in it, plug it in and within minutes the whole room smells and feels wonderful. Kendra has a congested nose and that is is helping.
