1. I know that elimination diets are supposed to be a temporary diagnostic tool but what do you do if your baby clears up when your on it but reacts to each food you try to add back in?
2. If their skin totally clears up, shouldn’t you see improvement in runny, mucusy stools as well (after a number of weeks)?
I think if your baby is reacting to foods that you add back in then you might have to make a decision whether you can continue on the diet the way it is or go to formula like Neocate. The mucous in the stools can take a long time to go away or might never go away. The mucous in Tylers stool was improved after about 6 weeks but never really went away completely. If the mucous is the only problem and he is happy and sleeping and eating well then I wouldnt be too concerned.
