InactiveAnyone who is using the bufferbabies kit, I am having problems getting the solution out of the bottles.
I followed the instructions but after twisting on the syringe and slowly drawing the medicine out, it really doesn’t not have much come out. It hardly produces 2ml and its lots of bubbles. After untwisting the syringe and giving my son the amount I could get I try to get the last ml since he’s supposed to get 3ml total for each dose. I twist the syringe back on and try to get the last ml but usually can only get 1/2 of what I need.
The 2nd month of using the bufferbabies I thoroughly cleaned the system out using warm water and flushing out the parts with the large syringe. Even though I know it is all clean and should be free of any blockages I am still experiencing the same problems.
Anyone else have this problem? I emailed David about it today and hopefully I hear back.

InactiveI have had the exact same problem. They actually have a completely new dispensing system now b/c so many people were having trouble with the bottle kit. I wound up just taking the top off the two bottles and keeping them separate. I set the orange caps on the top of each bottle to shake them up when I’m ready to dose and use my syringe to just pull equal sides of A and B. Hope that helps!!!

InactiveI received this kit in the mail Jan 19. I am guessing the new system came out after then? I wonder if I could get a new one. Have you tried or are you just going to continue pulling equal sides of A & B?

InactiveActually the new kit, from what I understand, IS just two separate bottles like I already do. Except maybe they have screw caps instead of just the orange plugs that sit in there?

InactiveI just got my new refills in the mail yesterday. They actually gave me the new bottles (two separate A and B with screw lids). The information said a whole new system was in the works but to use the separate bottles until the new bottle system was ready for distribution. 🙂

Inactivethats great. I went to walgreens and bought the cap/plunger that can go into the bottles that have the little holes to put the syringe and draw the medicine out, instead of having to stick the syringe into the bottle.
I have not heard back from David and its been several days. Have you ever called or only worked with them through email? I think I will call Monday.

InactiveOh that’s a good idea!! I’ll have to look for those syringes!
I have only dealt with him through email but I know he’s VERY difficult to get ahold of. He doesn’t work on Fridays either…I just looked at the names of your boys…those were BOTH our boy names we had picked out!! Two girls for us though…and we’re done! 🙂February 27, 2010 at 7:06 pm #65951Anonymous
InactiveI just wanted to chime in & say that I emailed David 2 seperate times (about 2 diff’t thing)… once 2.5 wks ago & also 4 days ago & have yet to hear anything back.
With Evan (my 2nd son) I used to deal w/ David through the phone & it was fine/good.

InactiveAmy – I wanted to ask with the new bottles did you get instructions, is the dosing to do equal parts from each bottle?

InactiveYes, the directions that came with it just say to pull equal sides from bottle A and B. 🙂 So far we like them a LOT better…mostly because the tight seal screw on lid makes it so much easier to shake them up than just the orange caps that sat in there! Plus the hole is bigger so it’s easier to get a syringe in there. 🙂
