Worse on Buffer Babies??

OK, so I did finally get some Buffer Babies and went with the suggestion to try OTC prilosec instead of prevacid. DS is currently almost 3 mos old and has been on 7.5 mg Prevacid solutab 3 times a day since he was 7 weeks old. I just switched him to the Buffer Babies with prilosec yesterday and he was screaming most of the day. This morning hasn’t been as bad but he’s had quite a few projectile vomit sessions. Do you think it’s just his body trying to get used to the prilosec vs prevacid? Has anyone had this experience with Buffer Babies where their LO got a bit worse before better?

I’m going to give it 2 or 3 more days before I make any decisions. The folks at Buffer Babies sure are helpful and I would love it if it worked because our insurance only covers 1 solutab/day (he needs 1.5) so it would be nice to do without the silly insurance company at all!
