InactiveYES! I called and they do not have it in stock but will call the company and call me back.
Now, has anyone had any problems with insurance paying for the caracream?
Actually, now that I think about it Elijah’s insurance doesn’t pay for flavors, we have to pay $2.99.
How much is the caracream?
I assume the caracream has directions on how to mix the flavor..am I correct or is it used just like all the flavors?
Hopefully, this will work out for Elijah.
He is doing better these last few days since mom started to give him
the reglan again.(she stopped it suddenly, it is so hard to get into
him especially when it can’t be given with other meds.So we do not know if the reglan relieved some symptoms or if the Prilosec Suspension is starting to work.

InactiveGlad to hear he is feeling better

What are you going to use caracream for? I thought that was used for the packets or capsules? You are going to use it with Prilosec Suspension? To make it taste better?
Just curious….

InactiveOk, am I really that crazy? Please don’t answer that LOL.
I believe the caracream is used in suspensions of Prilosec…isn’t it?
I have read so much some of it is still fumbling around in my mind.

InactiveCaraCream is not a flavoring for PPI suspensions. It IS a flavored suspension agent for PPIs. In order to use it, you must use the capsule form of PPIs. Tablets (such as Prilosec OTC) can be used, but this requires special instructions. If you have any other questions about CaraCream (which we make), feel free to email me: andrewsjj@health.missouri.edu.

InactiveElijah’s pharmacy just called. They do not have a contract with Flavor RX for Caracream.
So what do I do now? I am going to email Joel but he just mentioned his email might be down for another week.
This is making me crazy.
I don’t know how you mothers do this when you are sleep deprived and
everything else you have to do with your babies and/or other children,
work.Even as a RN who understands much of the medical jargon, the GI system, I am still getting mixed up.
Everyone of you should get a medal!
I’m just grammy who gets to sleep through the night (when my medical
problems aren’t bothering me) and take care of Elijah during the day,
through good times and bad.May 3, 2006 at 3:17 pm #7499Anonymous
InactiveI’m still checking my email from a coffee shop, so you can still reach me that way. Or you can call me: (573) 884-0672. Be sure to have your pharmacy order the CaraCream Jr EZ Mix kits, and not the regular sized CaraCream.
