InactiveI know this was a topic somewhere a little while ago, but not sure where. I’m wondering if anyone else has tried to use the Zegerid coupon and if so where did it work? I tried at CVS. They said it wouldn’t scan and it wouldn’t accept it when they tried it manually.

InactiveI have used it once and my pharmacist accepted it. It was at our grocery store pharmacy. It wouldn’t scan but he gave me the discount anyway.
I guess I would suggest they look online at the Zegerid site to verify that it is a legitimate offer from the company.

InactiveI went to the zegerid website, clicked contact us, and wrote them. Let’s see if they respond!

InactiveI guess I was suggesting have the pharmacy look online at the Zegerid site so the pharmacy would realize that it is a legitimate offer. Sorry for the confusion. It’s a great deal if you can get it to work

InactiveOk, after about a week I got an email back from the people at Zegerid. They sent me a customer service number for coupons and rebates. I called, got right through and spoke to a nice gentleman.
He said that if the retailer cannot scan the coupon they can simply manually enter it, but they should only enter the numbers from 5-8 on the barcode all the way to the left.
If that doesn’t work, he said any retailer can override it and still use it. If they don’t, it’s because they choose not to, most likely because they are scared they are not going to get their money. He said all they have to do is staple a copy of the receipt to the coupon and mail it in.
If they are still inwilling to take the coupon he said just to give them the customer service number and make them call while you wait. The number is 1-800-589-0021
I know I may seem a bit much with getting people to accept this coupon, but when you have twins on it and can be paying $10 a month instead of $70 a month, you’ll do what it takes!

InactiveI just used the coupon for the second time and it didn’t scan but they did accept it again. It is such a huge savings – thank goodness the coupon doesn’t expire until December 31st – will get to use it several more times!!

InactiveWith lots of new people using Zegerid, I just wanted to bring this post back to the active topics. Go to http://www.zegerid.com and there is a $30.00 coupon on the site. It can be used as often as you need it (I have used it twice already). Make several copies. It applies to the out-of-pocket amount you pay for the Zegerid (ie we had a $39.00 copay, got the $30.00 off, so it only cost us $9.00 for almost 2 months of Zegerid). It is a great deal. Read the above posts for info of what to do if your pharmacy balks at the coupon.
Any way to save a bit of $$$$$$

InactiveQuestion? Kinda stupid but curious to what you guys did. Did you use a black and white copy or color copy of the coupon. At work I don’t have a color copier and wondering if you have had luck if it is not in color. Thanks

InactiveI guess I had a color copy but I don’t know if it makes a difference. As long as it is readable, I would think it would be OK

InactiveFYI…Walmart will no longer take ANY printed coupons, including the Zegerid one.
CVS took it after I told them how to input it and that they could call to verify.
