my dd is having SEVERE reflux since I switched her to the new Neocate. I called the ped GI and he suggested that it could just be a peak in her reflux! I disagree, he was fooled by the SHS rep who told him that all the babies are doing great on it….Anyway, I cant get Elecare locally, my dr’s dont have any samples and I cant order it from Ross w/o a script. It took forever to get my scripts to the insurance co and medical supply sooooo I dont want to mess with a good thing till I know that she does better on Elecare or not. I would be willing to pay all shipping costs. Thanks

How about trying Ebay… you could buy some elecare (i know people buy neocate so i assume elecare is available too) and sell your neocate there.

I am sorry about new formulation – Matthew did really well on it and we loved it (we were feeding by tube and the old one would clogg and set off alarm all the time!)

Thanks. Apria healthcare is overnighting me some. I wish she did well on it too. She is doing AWFUL!! As of today she is throwing it up.

I know that you have to trust your instincts but i want to tell you that right around 5 months was REALLY bad for Matthew and reflux. I mean for a baby that never spit up (only first few weeks adn then was all silent) he was having MAJOR vomitting, projectile most of the time and then it was like that for a few weeks and then got better… i am praying that it happens to you too…
