InactiveAfter teething for what seems like 6 months, we finally have teeth! One
of the two bottom front teeth is through (can feel the jagged edge),
the other is cutting right now and the tooth next to that looks to be
right behind. No wonder the poor girl hasn’t wanted to eat as much
lately (have had to do bottles in front of TV and solids have been more
miss than hit). Funny, I kept saying that she’d end up getting them all
at once.June 7, 2006 at 8:48 pm #9314Anonymous
InactiveOh poor Marisa, hopefully she gets them all over and done with really quick. Both of my kids seem to get 2 teeth at a time, so it is over with twice as quick. Hopefully she is back to her old self really soon.

InactiveThanks Amber. Funny though – she’s been fussy about eating but very
cheerful otherwise and sleeping very well. She’s also been pulling up
on everything and walking if we are holding her hands!!!June 7, 2006 at 9:32 pm #9320Anonymous
InactiveHurray for teeth!!!! (finally!!!) It seems like poor Marisa has been teething forever! Hopefully she’ll want to eat a bit more when they come through all the way. Hailey is also cutting a bunch, but still only technically has 1.5. Sarah used to get 2 at a time, but Hailey gets one and then it takes a few weeks for it to come out all the way, and then a few more weeks for the next one to peek out. Fun fun fun. That’s great about the walking too!!!!

InactiveYeah! I cannot believe she finally got her teeth b/c she has been teething for months now! I bet she looks just adorable when her teeth come in

InactiveI know guys – seems like forever!!! Poor girl woke up at 5am today and
just couldn’t get back to sleep although she tried and tried. She then
refused her bottle but did eat her breakfast (she usually has bottle
first) and finally let me give her a bottle almost 2 hours later in
front of Sesame. Which is good because we are in the middle of an
Enfamil trial (today we are up to 1/3 Enfamil, 2/3 Alimentum).June 8, 2006 at 11:47 am #9350Anonymous
InactiveWow! Congrats Karen and Marisa!! Ian’s been teething just as long and I can’t wait until something pops out. We went to the feeding clinic yesterday (V. helpful!! Will post their tips later and see if anyone can use them. Ian went from refusing all solids to eating 4oz with a smile in 20 min!) and the dr. said a tooth is coming soon! She could tell by how his jaw was while eating. I’m sure she’ll get back to eating biz soon.
How’s the enfamil trial going???
Amber-HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TYLER!!!!!!

InactiveGreat news with Ian eating his solids – definitely let me know what the feeding clinic had to say!
Trial seems to be OK so far, knock wood. Yesterday she had about 3.5
ounces Enfamil and no reaction that I can tell. She’s had 2 ounces so
far today and hopefully another two (mixed with 4 Alimentum) around
2pm. And another 1.5-2 tonight… Fingers are crossed.June 8, 2006 at 12:56 pm #9357Anonymous
InactiveThat’s really wonderful (not jinxing and crossing fingers, toes, arms and legs) Karen. So nice to see how far Marisa has come these months. I hope Ian will be there too. Really want him to have ice cream and pizza! But of course, will deal with it if not. I’m so happy for you.

InactiveThanks – I’m crossing all those things are anything else I can think of
too. I bet Ian will be able to have ice cream and pizza soon enough –
after all, his allergy test was negative – it may take a little while
but he’ll get there! I’ll be looking for your post on the clinic.June 8, 2006 at 2:09 pm #9361Anonymous
InactiveThat’s great Tracy!!! I’m also VERY anxious to read your post! I’m curious to know what they did to get him to eat!

InactiveHi Lori and Karen-
Yes, my post will come up soon. Sorry-it may have to be this weekend. I’ve had a busy day at work and am catching a train to grandparents right after. Knock on wood, it’s been working REALLY well. I have a formal sheet with specific instructions so will try to copy it over exactly. It’s all about commands and praise (but exaggerated praise). Ian’s really enjoying it.
Also, good news on crawling. OT was impressed that Ian’s on all fours alot and said it won’t be long. New exercises for his glutes.

InactiveKaren – so glad she got them through finally! It can take forever right??? For Matthew, they came in 2s as well… first the 2 at the bottom… and we also thought that he would get the ones next to those next but no… he now has 5 out and another 3 coming…!!
