thanks!
the ellaroo wrap (on sale above) actually is good for facing forward- it’s nice and light for this weather…there’s a VERY active NYC babywearing group, so if you went to a meeting I’m sure you’d see a bunch of wraps in action
– & it’s so much better to learn hands-on…for little babies a stretchy wrap is best- more ‘forgiving’ and snuggly…for matthew, a woven wrap is probably best (ellaroo being one kind/brand)…
there IS a learning curve & TBH (to be honest) I haven’t even really ventured into the world of wraps, even though I now have 3 (ok, I’m insane
!!!) I have 2 soft ones for newborn- one ‘fancy’ and one used off of the FSOT (for sale or trade) forum at TBW (http://www.thebabywearer.com) & the ellaroo I also got off the FSOT forum…
I have a video for the stretchy one and I intend on reading the instructions, lol! and http://www.mamatoto.org has instructional videos online…I figure I’ll start with the stretchy one (I pretty much know how to do it!) and then ‘move’ on to the ellaroo…
I want to make it to the monthly babywearing meeting locally, but it’s at 2pm and Jonah gets out of preschool/camp at 3, so I think after the baby is here & I have more of a schedule, I’ll make it to a meeting- I’ll have to ask (beg,LOL
) dh to get him when I go…
